At a time when you want to protect your logo/trademark, it is possible to make a so-called trademark protection of Patents and Registration Office (PRV). It is a relatively expensive process, why many of the smaller companies choose not to protect its logo. ® mark means that the logo, the trade mark is registered with the PRV in Sweden. According to Swedish law, only companies that have made an approved registration with PRV use sign in their communication.
